English-Speaking Veterinary Care in Charlottenlund

Skovshoved Dyreklinik is a veterinary clinic for dogs, cats and small pets, located in Charlottenlund on the coast just north of Copenhagen.

All of our veterinarians, nurses and reception staff speak fluent English, so you can explain what is wrong with your animal in your own words. We see both local residents and visitors to Denmark.

Consultations and diagnostics, including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory testing.

Orthopaedic surgery, including cruciate ligament repair (TPLO), fracture treatment and joint surgery.

Soft tissue surgery, including keyhole (laparoscopic) procedures with smaller incisions and faster recovery.

Dentistry, both routine and acute treatment for dogs and cats.

Vaccinations, health checks and preventive care.

Pet passports and travel documentation, including tapeworm treatment required for entry to Norway, Finland etc. 

Travelling with your pet

Some countries require a veterinary treatment within a fixed time window before you arrive. Getting the timing wrong means being turned away at the border. We handle the treatment and the paperwork, and we can advise on what your destination requires. 

Surgery at Skovshoved 

We specialise in orthopaedic, soft tissue and minimally invasive surgery. Procedures that many clinics refer elsewhere are carried out here.
